Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight using curtain side trailers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Uphold the company's values of respect and care for colleagues.
- Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 license.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery.
- Familiarity with curtain side operations.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
