Vehicle Handover Specialist
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 06:30-17:00 (working hours open to discussion)
Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Handover Specialist to join a busy automotive operation in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for vehicles and customer service to play a key role in ensuring every vehicle is presented and handed over to the highest standard.
Working as part of the Handover Team, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for collection, assisting customers during the handover process, and ensuring all required checks and documentation have been completed before vehicles leave site.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Handover Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers collecting vehicles.
- Explaining vehicle controls, features, and specifications where required.
- Demonstrating vehicle functions to customers during the handover process.
- Ensuring all required paperwork and vehicle checks have been completed before release.
- Preparing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are clean and ready for collection.
- Carrying out quality checks prior to vehicle handover.
- Ensuring vehicles are positioned in the designated collection area ready for the following day's collections.
- Supporting colleagues across the Handover Team as required.
- Delivering excellent customer service throughout the collection process.
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and professionalism at all times.
The Person:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or automotive role is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of modern vehicle controls and features, or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly motivated with a flexible attitude.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
