Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to provide essential assistance and care to individuals in need within our community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to improving clients' quality of life through personalized support, fostering independence, and promoting well-being. As a Community Support Worker, you will engage directly with clients, offering both practical help and emotional encouragement to enhance their daily living experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as mobility and personal hygiene to promote independence and dignity.
- Provide patient care including medication administration, basic health monitoring, and support during medical appointments.
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while respecting dietary restrictions.
- Manage behavior and implement care plans for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, employing effective behavior management techniques.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation among seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Experience
- Experience is not required for this position as we offer full training however a compassionate and dedicated attitude towards care and helping the clients is essential.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
