Step Into Teaching is working with an amazing school in Barnet that is looking for a passionate and motivated graduate to join their team from September 2026 for the full academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is considering a career in education and wants to gain real, hands-on experience working with pupils in a supportive school environment.
You’ll be based in one school, working full-time, Monday–Friday, term-time only, giving you the chance to become part of the school community and make a genuine difference to students’ lives.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has or is predicted to achieve a 2:2 degree or above
- Is friendly, approachable and supportive
- Is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential
- Is resilient, motivated and keen to inspire students to achieve excellence
- Has experience working with young people (desirable, but not essential)
- Can reliably commute to Barnet
- Has a creative, reflective and positive approach to supporting students
- Can confidently deliver structured 1:1 support sessions
- Works well as part of a wider team
