We currently have an opportunity for skilled & dedicated Assembly Fitters, to join our Production team.
As an Assembly Fitter, you'll play a pivotal role in building market leading trailers and vehicles that are used to deliver goods and bulk materials across the World.
Role:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Assembly Fitter will be responsible for fitting discharge equipment and ancilliaries to trailer & HGV truck chassis’, meeting on-time deliveries in the most effective manner.
Duties include:
- Use of power and manual tooling to assemble equipment
- Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
- Pneumatic and electrical fit out (piping and wiring)
- Adhering to strict quality requirements
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience of fitting hydraulics, ideally pneumatics and electrical works
- Experience in mechanical fitting
- Experience of working in a similar environment would be preferred but training will be provided
- Pneumatic and electrical fit out (piping and wiring) desirable but not essential
