About the Role
Due to our growing business, we are seeking an experienced and motivated NICEIC Manager to lead our electrical compliance function and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across our electrical operations.
The successful candidate will act as the company's NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS), ensuring all electrical installation work complies with BS 7671, Building Regulations, NICEIC requirements, and industry best practices. The role involves supporting operational teams, conducting technical audits, overseeing certification, and managing NICEIC assessments.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the company's NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS).
· Maintain NICEIC Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer accreditation.
· Ensure compliance with BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, and relevant legislation.
· Review and approve electrical certification, inspection reports, and EICRs.
· Conduct internal technical audits and quality inspections.
· Support electricians and site supervisors with technical guidance.
· Prepare for and manage NICEIC annual assessments.
· Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
· Develop and maintain compliance procedures and documentation.
· Deliver toolbox talks and technical training where required.
· Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies regarding compliance matters.
· Support company electrical works across all projects and sites
- Conduct & submit risk assessments & methods statements.
- Manage & maintain equipment calibration logs
- Generate & submit O&M documentation & relevant certificates upon completion of projects
- Manage customer KPI meetings / requests & effectively action / communicate instructions / data accordingly.
- Manage & maintain master certification log & personnel RA’s in accordance with the latest EAS requirements
- Motivate contract staff & employees to include providing expert advice where required.
- To recognise & implement training requirements.
Essential Requirements
· Fully qualified Electrician with relevant City & Guilds qualifications.
· Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor or Electrical Compliance Manager.
· Strong knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition).
· City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
· Proven experience signing off certification and managing compliance processes.
· Excellent understanding of electrical installation standards and regulations.
· Strong communication and leadership skills.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications
· HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
· IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
· Experience within commercial, industrial, renewable energy, or EV infrastructure sectors.
· Previous experience managing teams and electrical projects.
