Human Resources Apprentice (Level 5)
Location: Dorothy Goodman School (Secondary site, Barwell Lane)
Start Date: 17th August 2026
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week, includes study time)
Salary: Grade 6 (£25,995 to £26,409 FTE). Moving to Grade 8 following the successful completion of the apprenticeship.

We are currently looking for a motivated HR professional to join our friendly and supportive central team, working in a values-led organisation. To ensure we find the right person who is aligned with our culture and values, we welcome applications from motivated individuals looking to take their next steps in their HR career, who are committed to completing a fully funded Level 5 CIPD apprenticeship (including dedicated study time) while gaining hands-on experience.

As a valued member of our team you will:
- Support the delivery of the Trust-wide people strategy and HR policies across all OTP schools
- Act as the first point of contact for HR, wellbeing, and pay queries
- Support recruitment, absence management, and employee wellbeing processes
- Provide administrative and practical support for HR meetings, casework, and compliance
- Collaborate with managers and teams to deliver a consistent, inclusive, and high-quality HR service across the Trust
