Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our small and friendly paint manufacturing team. This role involves working in an environment where attention to detail and safety are paramount. The successful candidate once trained will be involved in all aspects of the paint batch production process, and be able to work alone or as part of a small team ensuring high-quality output and efficient operations. Duties
- Following a formula to accurately weigh all liquid and powder raw materials in preparation for production
- Loading the raw materials into the machinery
- Monitoring the production process
- Safely operating production machinery, including mixing machines and forklift trucks
- Performing quality assurance and testing checks throughout the production process
- Filling, packing and labelling the finished goods in preparation for shipment
- Cleaning machinery and other parts of the production space as necessary
- Stock control of goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouse
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Moving materials and finished goods within the factory
- Collaborating with team members to optimise workflow
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently individually and in a team environment
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality standards are maintained
- This is a physical role and will involve manual handling of raw materials and finished paint containers of up to 25kg each throughout the working day.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations
- Experience in paint manufacture, and a forklift licence would be an advantage, but full training will be given,
