Deputy Head of Children’s Services

We are exclusively representing a private equity-backed specialist care provider entering an exciting period of growth.
This is a rare opportunity to lead the Ofsted registration and launch of a newly refurbished children’s residential service, working closely with the Head of Children’s Services and helping shape the organisation’s wider strategy.
You will have the freedom to build your own team and create a warm, values-led service from the ground up. Experienced operational managers and a dedicated project manager are already in place.
The setting offers extensive grounds, an on-site school and farm—and even resident ponies—all designed to help young people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs enjoy meaningful, fulfilling lives.
We are looking for someone with:
- Senior leadership experience in children’s residential care
- Registered Manager or comparable operational experience
- A relevant Level 5 qualification
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- A warm, ambitious and hands-on leadership style

Pay: £70,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
