Overview
Rebuild and Rise Families Ltd are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Independent Social Worker to provide specialised support and guidance to individuals and families within the community. The role involves working independently to assess needs, develop tailored intervention plans, and advocate for clients to ensure their well-being and safety. Candidates should have experience working with children and possess excellent communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working autonomously in a flexible environment within an assessment and other 1-1 basis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and environmental needs.
- Develop personalised support plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and relevant agencies.
- Provide counselling and emotional support to children and adults facing various challenges.
- Advocate on behalf of clients to access appropriate services, resources, and community programmes.
- Monitor progress of intervention plans and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Work independently while ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when required to coordinate care effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a social worker or in a related role within community or social services settings.
- Demonstrable experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures, child protection legislation, and relevant social policies.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases independently.
- Compassionate approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
