About Us
Oxijan Ltd is an established wholesale distributor based in Bolton. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager (SOC Code: 1242) to oversee our warehouse facility, maintain inventory control, and ensure efficient storage and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with the sales department to determine materials and stock required for current and future sales commitments.
- Review, develop, and implement stock control, handling, and distribution policies to maximize space, financial efficiency, and labor resources.
- Advise the purchasing department on the type, quality, and quantity of items required, ensuring strict delivery deadlines are met.
- Decide on optimal storage conditions for inventory, allocate warehouse space effectively, and carry out regular inspections to identify and prevent damage or deterioration.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation, goods in/out manifests, and stock audit trails.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a warehousing, wholesale, or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, space planning, and stock control methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills to coordinate between sales, purchasing, and logistics.
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety regulations within storage facilities.
- Right to Work in the UK.
