The Role
We are looking for a friendly, confident and hands-on Manager to join the Kingdom team.
You will help oversee the day-to-day running of the business, support and lead the team, and ensure our guests receive an excellent experience from the moment they arrive.
An important part of the role will be managing and running events on the day, ensuring everything runs smoothly and guests receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of Kingdom
- Leading, motivating and supporting the team
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining high standards of food, service, cleanliness and presentation
- Supporting our whole-food and healthy food philosophy
- Managing and running events on the day
- Overseeing staff and service during events
- Ensuring events run smoothly and efficiently
- Dealing confidently with guests and responding to any issues that arise
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and supporting the barista operation
- Supporting staff training and maintaining excellent coffee standards
- Organising staff rotas and supporting team development
- Assisting with stock control and reducing food waste
- Handling customer enquiries and feedback professionally
- Ensuring health, safety and food hygiene standards are maintained
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Leading by example and creating a positive working environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous hospitality management experience is essential
- Experience running events on the day is essential
- Strong barista skills and experience making quality coffee are essential
- Confident managing a team during busy services and events
- A friendly, confident and approachable personality
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved
- Passion for whole, healthy and nutritious food
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
- Reliable, responsible and enthusiastic
- A positive attitude and ability to motivate a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and during busy event periods
