Bridge Care is currently recruiting Full-Time Community Care Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team.
This role is ideal for someone looking for a permanent, full-time position where no two days are the same. You'll make a real difference by supporting people to remain independent in their own homes while becoming part of a well-established, family-run care provider.
Working Pattern
To provide continuity of care for our clients, successful applicants must be available to work:
- Morning shifts from 8:00am
- At least two tea/evening shifts per week (typically 4:00pm – 10:00pm)
- Alternate weekends (this is an essential requirement of the role)

Salary
- £13.70 per hour (8:00am – 6:00pm)
- £13.95 per hour (After 6:00pm and weekends)
- £14.20 per hour for support work
- Double pay on Bank Holidays

The Role
As a Care Assistant, you'll visit clients in their own homes and provide compassionate, person-centred care that enables them to live safely and independently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Supporting with medication following training
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing meals and assisting with light household duties
- Promoting independence and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Following safeguarding procedures and Health & Safety policies
What We're Looking For
- A caring, compassionate and reliable individual
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as travelling between clients is essential
- Availability to work mornings from 8:00am
- Availability to work at least two evening shifts each week
- Availability to work alternate weekends (essential)
- Good communication skills
- Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full paid training and ongoing support will be provided
