Personal Assistant.
We are seeking an experienced personal assistant for our 4yr old son, Henri.
This will be for 15hrs per week during school holidays and 6hrs per week during term time.
Henri is 4yrs old. He is nonverbal autistic with learning disabilities. Henri is a happy & content little boy with a real zest for life and extremely active. He loves being outdoors and exploring the world around him.
PA must be patient, kind & understanding. Be able to match Henri’s energy. Have knowledge & understanding of children with Special Educational Needs. Be able to manage challenging behaviours in a kind and appropriate manner. Assist with personal Care such as toileting and support with eating. Have great attention skills to safety and Henri’s wellbeing.
The role will be out in the community based meaning driving is essential. Aiming to support Henri out in the community practicing life skills and encouraging Henri to thrive within the world around us. This will include giving Henri life experiences with days out and learning opportunities.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
