We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our growing independent garage and vehicle preparation centre.
This is not a fast-fit environment and we are not looking for someone to simply carry out basic servicing all day.
We are building a specialist workshop for our car dealership focused on quality repairs, diagnostics, vehicle preparation, MOT work, and prestige vehicles, with a particular focus on Land Rover and Range Rover models.
This is not a public garage, it will be used to mainly prepare our cars and that's it so it would not be a fast, busy paced environment for the public.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles, including dealership stock, customer vehicles, and higher-end prestige vehicles.
What You'll Be Doing
- Vehicle servicing and repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Timing chains and engine repairs
- Suspension and steering repairs
- MOT repairs and preparation
- Vehicle health checks
- Working closely with our dealership preparation department
- Electrical fault diagnosis (preferred)
- Land Rover / Range Rover repairs (preferred)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years workshop experience preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Ability to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Pride in workmanship
- MOT Tester qualification beneficial but not essential
Range Rover / Land Rover Experience
Experience working on:
- Range Rover
- Range Rover Sport
- Evoque
- Discovery
- Defender
would be a major advantage.
However, we are also interested in experienced technicians from other prestige brands who are willing to develop specialist knowledge.
