Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Vehicle Workshop Supervisor / Manager to lead our automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop activities, coordinating tasks among technicians and support staff to meet service deadlines and quality standards
- Ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, diagnose faults, and oversee complex repairs
- Manage inventory of hand tools, power tools, spare parts, and consumables to maintain optimal stock levels
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the workshop environment, enforcing adherence to health and safety protocols
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians, fostering skill development and continuous improvement
- Maintain detailed records of work orders, service histories, and repair documentation for accountability and reporting purposes
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair or workshop management with a strong mechanical background
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technicians or mechanics effectively
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for vehicle maintenance tasks
- Solid understanding of diagnostic procedures, vehicle systems, and repair processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with customers professionally
