Job Title: Stock Controller
Location: Unit 1, High Barns Farm, Bedford Road, Roxton, Bedfordshire, MK44 3ET
Details: 45-hour working week Monday to Friday.(8:00am – 5.30pm)
Position duration: Permanent following successful completion of probationary period.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Dependant on experience
Job Summary: An experienced Stock controller is required to work within a dynamic multi-functional team. This is an exciting working environment where multiple projects run concurrently through the business. They will be required to support the management team as well as performing the type of standard duties listed below. Teamwork is essential but you must also be able to work on your own initiative. Excellent attention to detail must be shown and you must also demonstrate a methodical and thorough approach to work. An ability to juggle tasks and keep calm under pressure is also required.
Standard Duties: Include but not be limited to;
- Goods In/Goods Out
- Operating the forklift
- Controlling and issuing parts from stock
- Allocation of parts to projects
- Goods Inward – Booking in on SAGE system
- Stock inventory control.
- Distribution of stock in stores department
- Picking / Packing and assembling of kits
- Assist Accounts
- Assist Service
- Parts Enquiries
- Liaising with overseas suppliers.
- Customer Quotes
- Customer Orders
- Weekly Orders
Responsibilities: Comply with all aspects of the policies if RSP UK Suction Excavators Ltd and follow published procedures where applicable. Maintain a culture of best practice by attending training courses, both internal and external when and where appropriate.
Experience: 3- 5 years stores experience.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- An ability to recognise mechanical and electrical components
- Clean driving license
- Computer literate
- Excel

- Sage 200 (desirable)
- Current Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Forward thinking
H+S: To work safely always and in accordance with the company’s health and safety procedures. Precautions should be taken as necessary when visiting sites, adopting the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
