What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cafe experience is essential – you must be confident in making coffee to a high standard using a commercial espresso machine.
- Flexibility – this is a flexible role with variable hours. Usually 10-15 hours per week.
- Weekend availability is a must - this role is for 3 Saturdays a month.
- Excellent customer service – positive language, a friendly attitude, and the ability to strike up a conversation with customers. (Don’t worry, they won’t be strangers for long – our customers are lovely!)
- Efficiency & multitasking – we run a tight ship (more of a dinghy, really), so you’ll need to work quickly, clean as you go, and keep things running smoothly.
- Cash handling – confidently process card and cash payments, including cashing up.
- Key holder responsibilities – trustworthy and responsible, with the ability to open and close the café.
- Commitment – we’re looking for someone who wants to stick around, not just a short-term role.
