Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bakery Shop Manager to lead our bustling bakery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining the high quality of our baked goods. The successful applicant will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for customers while ensuring the bakery runs efficiently and profitably.
Duties
- Supervise daily bakery operations, including food preparation and production of baked goods
- Oversee food safety compliance and maintain hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
- Coordinate inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling stock levels
- Ensure all baked products meet quality standards and are presented attractively to customers
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop floor, kitchen, and equipment at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or bakery operations
- Previous supervising or team management experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards shared goals
- Experience in serving customers and delivering outstanding hospitality services
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food presentation techniques, and inventory control systems
- A professional attitude combined with excellent communication skills
Pay: £13.50 per hour
