***YOU NEED TO BE AN EXPERIENCED FIRE STOPPER***
We are seeking a skilled Fire Stopper to join our team. The Fire Stopper will be responsible for installing fire-stopping systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within buildings.
Responsibilities
- Install fire-resistant materials to seal openings and joints in walls, floors, and ceilings
- Utilise various tools such as power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
- Work with different construction materials including masonry, fabricate metal, and carpentry
- Inspect and maintain fire-stopping systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to coordinate fire-stopping efforts
Requirements
- Experience in electrical work, carpentry, painting, plumbing, or related fields
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to fabricate metal and work with masonry
- Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Understanding of fire safety regulations and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,440.00 per year
