Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Carer (Part-time) to provide exceptional support and assistance to a gentleman with dementia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering personalised care in a respectful and empowering manner. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to enhance the well-being of the person they will be supporting.
The working hours will be 10pm till 10am for 1 day1 a week, a total of 12 hours a week.
Duties
- Assist the gentlemen with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times
- Support them in maintaining their independence by helping with household tasks and errands
- Follow detailed care plans tailored to their needs, preferences, and health requirements
- Help with meal preparation, household tasks & shopping
- Support clients with mobility & medication management
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable.
