has good communication skills, both written and oral, and is able to liaise confidently with staff and partners across the firm;
can demonstrate an organised and methodical approach to their work;
can meet deadlines when under pressure with multiple tasks;
has proven research and analysis skills;
has strong attention to detail;
is energetic and enthusiastic; and
is confident to talk to internal clients.
In addition, you will need to be:
willing to travel to the firm's other offices on occasion; and
flexible and able to work longer hours as the role demands.
The activities
SRA compliance: Support practising certificate renewals, applications, and record management.
ISO accreditations: Coordinate audits, maintain documentation, manage risk registers, and support compliance reviews.
Claims & complaints: Administer claims, support complaints investigations, and maintain incident/breach records.
Insurance renewals: Assist with annual renewals for PI, cyber, data protection, and management liability insurance.
Risk management: Log and monitor risks, incidents, and compliance issues across the firm.
Business development: Act as the first point of contact for risk and compliance tender queries.
Management reporting: Collate statistics and information for management reviews.
Team administration: Manage inbox queries, diaries, travel arrangements, filing, and general administrative support.
Ad hoc support: Assist with wider risk and compliance projects and activities as required.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
