Contract: Two positions are available. One is till 6th Nov 2026 and other one is from 9th Nov 2026 to 7th May 2027
Hours: Full-Time / 37.5hrs/week

Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and accredited CBT Therapist to join a dedicated mental health team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, developing formulations, and delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions in line with best practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement psychological formulations and treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions to adults experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.
- Manage a caseload of patients and maintain accurate clinical records.
Essential Requirements
- Postgraduate Diploma in CBT or equivalent qualification.
- Current accreditation and registration with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
- Current registration with either the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience delivering CBT for a variety of mental health conditions including:
- Anxiety Disorders
- Depression
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Eating Disorders
- Substance Misuse (Drug and Alcohol)
- Somatic Disorders
- Trauma related to Sexual or Physical Abuse
- Relationship and Marital Difficulties
- Addictive Behaviours
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
- Experience working within NHS mental health services.
- Knowledge of current mental health legislation and best practice guidelines.
