Are you passionate about cars and confident dealing with customers?
This is not a typical dealership Service Advisor role.
At Bakers Garage, our Service Advisors play a key role in both customer service and sales. You will need to understand vehicle repairs, prepare estimates, explain technical findings, and confidently present repair recommendations to customers.
We are looking for someone who enjoys the technical side of the motor trade as much as the customer-facing side.
Whether you are an experienced Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, Workshop Controller or a Technician looking to move off the tools, we would like to hear from you.

The Role
As the link between our customers and workshop, you will:
- Manage customer bookings and vehicle handovers
- Understand and interpret customer concerns
- Prepare accurate repair and service estimates
- Present estimates and obtain authorisation for repairs
- Liaise with technicians regarding diagnostics and repairs
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
- Assist with workshop scheduling and utilisation
- Order and source parts when required
- Ensure all job documentation is accurate and complete
- Help maximise workshop efficiency, sales and customer satisfaction
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous motor trade experience
- Strong automotive knowledge and interest
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident discussing repairs and costs with customers
- Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Good computer and administration skills
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
