As our new Warehouse Operative, you'll be based on-site with one of our key customers in Kilkeel, playing an important role in making sure they have the products and materials they need to keep their operations running. You'll support the day-to-day management of stock, ensuring products are received, stored, picked and supplied accurately and efficiently.
You'll be representing TED within our customer's operation, so delivering a reliable and professional service will be just as important as keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in providing excellent service and wants to build a strong working relationship with both the customer and their TED colleagues.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Receive, check and put away incoming stock, ensuring products are stored accurately and safely.
Pick and prepare products to meet the day-to-day requirements of our customer.
Maintain accurate stock records and support stock checks to ensure product availability and inventory accuracy.
Monitor stock requirements and highlight shortages or potential issues to the appropriate TED colleagues.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment, following TED and customer-site Health & Safety requirements.
Build a positive working relationship with our customer, providing a professional and responsive service as an on-site representative of TED.
What do I need to be successful in this role?
A strong customer-service mindset with a reliable, professional and positive approach.
Good attention to detail, particularly when handling stock and processing customer requirements.
The confidence to work effectively within a customer-site environment and build positive working relationships.
Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day priorities.
The ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative member of the wider TED team.
Previous warehouse, stores, inventory or stock-management experience would be advantageous.
You'll need to be comfortable with the practical and physical nature of the role, including being on your feet and handling products throughout your working day.
