BOOKING OFFICER
Bradley Stoke Town Council is a busy Town Council based within South Gloucestershire and is seeking to appoint a customer focused Booking Officer dealing with the coordination and processing of bookings for 3 Activity Centres in line with set procedures and under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
The main duties linked to the bookings will include maintaining a booking system for each site and processing booking requests which are currently received via email, phone, post or face to face pending the introduction of a new online booking system planned for later this year. The successful candidate will also be required to monitor and process bank and cash payments in line with the booking schedule and issue invoices using Sage 50 Accounts. Additional sales and purchase ledger work will also be required under supervision.
A financial administration background is essential together with numeracy and Excel skills. Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is desirable although training can be provided for the right candidate. The Post holder will need an excellent phone manner and good oral and written communication skills dealing with members of the public whilst representing Bradley Stoke Town Council.
This is a 2-year fixed term position based upon 30 hours per week, office based working Monday – Friday.
Salary Range: £25,583 - 26,403 per annum pro rata based upon 37 Hours p/w. Equivalent to £20,743 - £21,408 for 30 Hours p/w.
NJC Scale 5 – 7
