Job description:
Introduction - HGV Class 2 Driver (Volumetric Mixer Operator)
Biker Group’s Concrete division specialises in the supply and delivery of high quality fresh ready mix and volumetric concrete across the North East and Yorkshire. We are currently looking for an experienced individual to operate a volumetric concrete mixer based at either our Thirsk, Leyburn or Northallerton sites.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years HGV Class 2 Driving experience
- Minimum of 2 years Concrete related experience
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Full drivers CPC.
- Must be located within commutable distance of either Thirsk, Leyburn or Northallerton
- To be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ambitious, organised and driven.
- The ability to build relationships with customers.
- Willing to work a variety of hours to meet our customers’ requirements, including Saturday mornings.
- A competent telehandler operator an advantage

- Full-Time, Permanent - guaranteed 50 hours per week plus overtime
- Pay: £47,500 - £57,500 per annum, depending on experience

Responsibilities and Duties
- Delivering and production of concrete at various locations, ensuring the product is to the required specification.
- Follow specific job instructions and complete all the relevant paperwork.
- Conduct vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness - ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, and current Vehicle and Tachograph legislation.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and mechanical awareness.
Pay: £47,500.00-£57,500.00 per year
