Duties
- Welcome customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Prepare detailed service estimates, explaining repair options and recommended services with enthusiasm
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer while meeting departmental goals
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge or background in automotive repair or maintenance ideal but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to upsell services tactfully while maintaining integrity and trust
- Experience with cash handling and basic point-of-sale systems
- Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
