We are seeking an experienced Learning & Enablement Manager to establish and lead our learning and enablement function. This is a unique opportunity to build a capability from the ground up, defining how knowledge, training and certification are delivered across the organisation and partner community.
The Role
The Learning & Enablement Manager is responsible for establishing Custodia's learning and enablement capability, including strategy, processes, technology, content and certification programmes.
Working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Services, Operations, Marketing and Partner Management teams, you will transform subject matter expertise into structured learning programmes that accelerate onboarding, improve competency and support business growth.
You will define learning standards, create scalable training frameworks, establish certification pathways and ensure training remains effective, measurable and aligned to business objectives.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring someone who can design an enablement function whilst also developing and delivering high-quality learning content.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Enablement Strategy
- Define and own Custodia's learning and enablement strategy.
- Establish learning standards, methodologies and governance.
- Develop scalable learning pathways for different audiences, including partners, customers and internal teams.
- Identify capability gaps and training requirements across the business.
- Define success measures and reporting frameworks to evaluate programme effectiveness.
Curriculum & Content Development
- Design, develop and maintain structured learning programmes and curricula.
- Translate technical, operational and commercial knowledge into engaging learning experiences.
- Create training materials including e-learning content, workshops, facilitator guides, playbooks, assessments and supporting resources.
- Establish content governance processes to ensure learning assets remain accurate and up to date.
Certification Programme Management
- Design and implement certification pathways and accreditation frameworks.
- Create assessments and competency validation methodologies.
- Manage certification administration, reporting and renewal processes.
- Track learner progress and certification adoption.
Learning Technology & Platforms
- Evaluate, recommend and manage learning technologies and delivery platforms.
- Define requirements for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and related solutions.
- Support implementation, adoption and ongoing optimisation of learning platforms.
- Ensure learning systems provide effective reporting and learner management capabilities.
Training Delivery & Enablement
- Deliver training programmes where appropriate.
- Enable and coach subject matter experts and business stakeholders to deliver training effectively.
- Promote adoption of learning programmes across the organisation and partner ecosystem.
- Drive continuous improvement through learner feedback and performance data.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Product teams to transform technical expertise into structured learning content.
- Work closely with Partner Management to align enablement and certification requirements with partner programmes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Services and Operations teams to support business priorities.
- Act as the central point of coordination for learning and enablement initiatives across the organisation.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in Learning & Development, Enablement, Training Management or Instructional Design.
- Experience designing, developing and implementing learning programmes.
- Experience creating certification programmes and assessment frameworks.
- Experience selecting, implementing or managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar learning technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across multiple departments.
- Excellent communication, planning and project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Experience establishing processes, frameworks or programmes in a growing organisation.
Desirable
- Experience within SaaS, Cybersecurity, Compliance or Enterprise Software environments.
- Experience supporting partner, channel or reseller ecosystems.
- Experience developing digital learning content and e-learning programmes.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience working within scale-up or high-growth businesses.
