Are you an experienced neurodevelopmental clinician ready to take on a senior leadership position within an adult autism service?
We’re working with a clinician-led healthcare provider to appoint an Adults ASD Service Lead. This is a key leadership role, responsible for supporting safe and effective service delivery while providing strong oversight of clinical quality, governance, performance and team development.
This is a great opportunity to help shape and improve the Adult ASD pathway, working alongside experienced clinical and operational colleagues within a well-governed service.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide clinical and operational leadership across the Adult ASD service.
- Oversee safe, high-quality diagnostic assessment and service delivery.
- Manage capacity, waiting lists, triage arrangements and service performance.
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, including line management and supervision.
- Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, risk management and quality improvement.
- Support pathway development, SOPs, audit and improvements to clinical standards.
What we’re looking for You’ll need significant post-qualification experience within ASD assessment, neurodevelopmental or mental health services, alongside experience in a senior clinical leadership role.
You should have:
- Current NMC registration with Advanced Clinical Practice, or HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Direct experience working within ASD assessment pathways.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including supervision and line management.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, risk and quality improvement.
- Experience managing service delivery, capacity and performance within a busy clinical environment.
