Overall purpose of the role:
To provide maternity cover for our service desk team leader during their maternity leave. To facilitate this the contract will start well in advance of the maternity leave in order to accommodate full training/shadowing of the role.
Our service desk is the hub of our busy and varied business, it is the first point of contact and the key organisational/logistical management area of our business for job preparation, planning, engineer organisation/management etc. The team leader has an active part in this as well as wider responsibilities working with our established processes and support for the updating of our ISOs, H&S, training, security passes etc
It is a busy and varied role working with an experienced and supportive team and our established clientele with whom we have excellent relationships.
You will be our main responsible person to ensure that:
- Our service desk operates efficiently and to a high standard in being the first point of contact for clients as well as the main logistical planner and service provider to them.
- All jobs, planned maintenance and reactive works are planned correctly with the necessary administration in place (RAMS, the correct paperwork/forms etc) for each job along with the engineers assigned and co-ordinated to complete the work.
- All necessary liaison with clients and engineers is carried out.
- All job completion activities, prior to jobs being passed for invoicing, is completed
- All necessary liaison between the service desk and other members of the team is carried out to ensure that all job related activities are co-ordinated toward a successful completion of works.
- All administrative management tasks (such as ISO related, keeping accreditations updated, ensuring access passes are renewed/in place etc) are monitored and actioned.

- Proven service desk experience and capabilities
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
- Strong capabilities and experience with word, excel, outlook etc.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Dynamism, an ability to multi-task, good logistical management and problem solving skills
- To work effectively and collaboratively as part of a small, friendly team.
- Experience in a related role such as Team Leader, Service desk, customer service etc.
- It would be useful but not essential to have a practical working knowledge of CLIK Service software.
This opportunity is a contracted term full time (40 hours per week) maternity cover role based out of our head office in Cranbrook, Kent. Core hours for the support team are 08:00 – 17:00 but flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the service.
Salary: £32,000.00-£34,000.00
