Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Hotel Public Area Cleaner at the Telegraph Hotel, Coventry, 15 to 25 hours per week Monday Wednesday and Friday 7am start, plus cleaning off hotel bedrooms Saturday and Sunday there will be a later start on these days.

An iconic building at the very heart of the city centre, the hotel evokes the famed mid-century 1950s architecture of Coventry and has a reflection of its former life as a thriving newspaper and printer works. With 88 air-conditioned bedrooms, several of which are duplex penthouse suites, as well as a stylish restaurant in a glazed courtyard, meeting, event and conference space, alongside a rooftop bar overlooking Belgrade Square.
The ideal candidate would possess outstanding communication skills.
Direct experience with hotel businesses is not required however, though some knowledge of the industry would be beneficial, as would experience of working in a customer experience focused role. The ideal candidate would be both resourceful, efficient, and with an outstanding eye for detail.
Duties will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining all hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, lounges and back-of-house areas
- Ensuring public spaces are consistently presented to the highest standard
- Responding promptly to spills, marks or guest requests
- Replenishing supplies and amenities in public restrooms
- Reporting maintenance issues or health & safety concerns
- Working closely with the housekeeping team
The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.
