Our mission is to ensure that every family and individuals in need has access to the tools, education, and learning opportunities necessary to bridge the digital divide and foster equitable growth.
Role Overview (Volunteer Position)
We are seeking an experienced HR Lead (Volunteer) to provide oversight, structure, and compliance across our HR processes.
This is a voluntary role suited to someone with HR experience who can guide and strengthen our internal systems.
We currently have admin and volunteer support in place.
This role is to lead and oversee HR processes, ensuring everything is organised, compliant, and running effectively.
You will work closely with leadership to reduce pressure on the CEO and bring consistency to recruitment, onboarding, and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes
- Guide and support admin/volunteers handling HR tasks
- Ensure compliance (right to work checks, documentation, records)
- Maintain organised HR systems and trackers
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries
- Strengthen processes and identify improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Proven HR experience 20+ years (essential)
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to oversee processes and guide others
- Confident working independently
- Clear and professional communication
- Supportive, calm, and solution-focused approach
Time Commitment
- Approx. 3–7 hours per week
- Flexible and mainly remote
