Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test cases, scripts, and plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute various testing types including functional, system, regression, performance, load, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Automate test processes using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and integrate with continuous integration systems like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Perform root cause analysis to diagnose issues discovered during testing phases and collaborate with developers for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Validate APIs using REST or SOAP protocols; conduct performance testing with LoadRunner or similar tools to ensure system robustness under load.
- Participate in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) activities including requirements gathering, release management, and deployment support within Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, defect reports in Jira or HP ALM, and ensure quality standards are met before releases.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing across multiple platforms such as Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab; experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Proficiency in testing APIs (REST/SOAP), database management (SQL/PL/SQL), and data analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Understanding of software development languages including Java, C#, C++, PHP, Python; experience with frameworks such as MVC or Service-oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus; familiarity with tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Maven, and build automation tools such as Ant.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with strong communication abilities to gather requirements effectively and articulate testing outcomes clearly.

Pay: £25,420.00-£71,771.33 per year
