About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead our busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can manage daily operations, ensure high-quality workmanship, and maintain excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the workshop.
- Supervise, motivate, and support workshop technicians and staff.
- Plan and allocate workloads to ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, and housekeeping.
- Monitor productivity and workshop performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues when required.
- Order and manage parts, tools, and workshop equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the office regarding repairs, progress, and costs.
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
- Assist with staff training and development.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Workshop Manager or Foreman
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
