Playzone Kids Club Limited is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Play Leader to join our friendly team in Langtoft.
We provide before-school, after-school and holiday childcare for children aged approximately 4–11 years. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and can help provide a safe, fun and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for children.
- Plan and lead fun, creative and age-appropriate activities.
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Support breakfast, snack and mealtime routines.
- Supervise children indoors and outdoors.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and childcare policies.
- Support the smooth running of the club and holiday activities.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Childcare, Playwork, Early Years or equivalent qualification – ESSENTIAL.
- Experience working with children.
- A genuine passion for childcare.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, responsible and enthusiastic.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to manage children's behaviour positively.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during school holidays.
Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene qualifications are desirable.
Hours: Up to 25 hours per week during term time + additional hours during school holidays
Term-time hours: 7.15am–9.00am and 3.00pm–6.00pm

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory safer recruitment checks, including references, qualification verification and right-to-work checks.
