Gladys and Ethel's is a new Houseplant, Gift and Coffee Shop in Kemptown Village. This unique new shop is looking for a full time supervisor to work in and help to operate the shop.
Working Tuesday - Friday 11am - 5pm, Saturday's 10am - 5pm.
We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of plants and if you have good barista skills this is a bonus, but training will be offered if not.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store on a daily basis, including cashing up and clean down
- Work with the store owner on stock taking, stock care and sales
- Daily plant care, including watering and caring for the plant stock
- Supervise and train new staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Provide outstanding customer service and guidance on plants
Requirements:
- Supervisor experience is essential
- Excellent plant knowledge
- Barista and food hygiene experience is preferred but training can be offered
- The ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
