Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Part Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cleaning and be committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment, with the opportunity to contribute to a professional and supportive team.
Hours of work will be 06:00-14:30 Monday to Friday, ( 3 months holiday cover)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
