We are a well-established, family-run independent garage and MOT testing station based in Sandtoft, near Doncaster. With a reputation built on honesty, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Service Technician to join our close-knit team.

The Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Servicing and maintaining a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carrying out repairs to a high standard.
- Performing vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT tests (MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential).
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
- Maintaining accurate job records.
- Working efficiently while ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician.
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Current MOT Tester licence.
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and modern electronic systems.
- Air conditioning qualification.
