We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, and expense claims
- Maintain accurate financial records and organise documentation for audit purposes
- Support the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances regularly
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as required by senior management
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments to resolve financial discrepancies or queries
- Support budgeting activities and financial forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is essential
- Basic understanding of accounting principles or financial software is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
