Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties
- Conduct multiple daily deliveries to various locations in a timely manner, adhering to scheduled routes.
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off by recipients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure operational efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics management is advantageous.
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks is desirable.
- Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with customers and team members effectively.
- A valid <PERSON> driver’s licence is mandatory, along with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools will be beneficial for efficient route planning. This role requires organisational skills, physical stamina, and a professional attitude to deliver excellent service consistently.
