Passive Fire Protection Operatives (In-tumescent Spraying & Fire Stopping)
Our client is looking to recruit Passive Fire Protection Operatives to join their growing team, working on projects across mainland UK, local to East Midlands depot. They welcome applications from candidates with experience in in-tumescent spraying, fire stopping, or other passive fire protection works, and are also open to individuals with transferable construction experience who are keen to develop their skills.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality passive fire protection installations on a variety of projects, ranging from smaller commercial works to large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities

Applying in-tumescent coatings to structural steel.

Operating and maintaining airless spray equipment.

Using DFT (Dry Film Thickness) gauges to ensure coatings meet required specifications.

Installing fire stopping systems and penetration seals.

Fitting cavity barriers.

Installing structural fire-resistant boarding and encasement systems.

Working safely and maintaining high standards of quality on site.
Work is carried out on sites nationwide, with operations based from the Midlands.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience within passive fire protection, in-tumescent spraying, fire stopping, or a similar construction trade is desirable.

A good understanding of site health and safety and quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

CSCS Card (REQUIRED)

Full UK driving licence is advantageous due to nationwide travel.
