Based in Market Drayton Shropshire, Gills Puddings produce high quality desserts and cake for the hospitality industry, including high street brands, hotel chains, pub chains and Premiership football clubs.
Gills Puddings is currently recruiting Warehouse operatives / drivers for our warehouse and logistics department in Market Drayton.
A warehouse operative will be responsible for loading and unloading of deliveries within a warehouse to or from delivery vehicles. This position requires the moving, lifting, pushing, pulling, placing of packages, boxes, dried ingredients and other freight goods safely and efficiently following the company's policies and guidelines. Also using Fork lift truck, full training will be given. The position also includes at times having to drive a Mercedes sprinter van making deliveries through out areas of the UK to cover drivers holidays/ sickness etc.
Clean driving license/Experience in stock control preferred
Able to lift and carry heavy loads
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills, computer literate
Flexible and able to work for extended hours / able to cover holidays
Outstanding organizational skills
Hard-working and team player
The position is for three days.
Mon, Tues, Wed 07.30 – 16.30 (negotiable)
Mon, Thurs 07.30 - 16.30, Fri 07.30 - 14.30 (negotiable)
