Job Summary:
To delight the customer by delivering the ‘best Gingerbread in the world’ through expert baking skills, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring consistency in our baking processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oven work
- Baking product
- Packaging product
- Cleaning of work areas
- Quality control
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Off-loading of deliveries
The role involves some heavy lifting and taking in deliveries so a good level of health and fitness is required for this position.
Days of work: 5 days (incl. Sat or Sun)
Hours of work: 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Rate of pay: £14.00 per hour (age 23 and over)
Length of contract: Permanent, rate of pay increasing to £14.50 following successful probationary period.
Suitable Candidate:
- Baking/kitchen experience
- Reliable, flexible and dependable
- Can work as part of a small team in a limited and fast paced environment
- Presentable for working in a food production environment and adhere to such legislation
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Able to work to deadlines
- Good communication skills
