The Company
A boutique live events and AV specialist with more than three decades of delivery behind it, covering technical production and creative event solutions across the UK and Europe. In-house capability spans audio, lighting, video and custom set builds, all from a substantial owned warehouse. The Role
As Technical Production Manager, you will take full ownership of productions from the moment a brief lands to the moment the show closes.
- Take client briefs, specify kit, and design event layouts
- Lead pre-production planning across scheduling, budgeting and vendors
- Manage technical planning for audio, lighting and video
- Deliver on-site as lead for AV management and production quality
- Conduct post-show debriefs and feed learnings into future productions
- Partner with internal specialists on creative and technical detail
The Candidate
The right candidate for this Technical Production Manager position will have come up through the technical side of live events and be ready to own productions independently. You will need to reach the East Midlands office regularly and be comfortable working on-site across the UK and Europe.
- Hands-on background operating AV, sound, video or lighting on live shows
- Experience taking client briefs and specifying kit for corporate events
- Event design and site planning skills, including AutoCAD
- Project management across pre-production, on-site delivery and post-show
- Able to commute regularly to a base in the East Midlands
Experience with roadshows, virtual events, awards dinners or international conferences is a plus, as is exposure to vendor coordination and budget management. Above all, this role suits someone who takes pride in technical craft and is ready to lead.
