The opportunity
We are recruiting a Sales Coordinator to join the financial services division of a leading international agricultural equipment business.
This is a varied and fast-paced position in which you will coordinate the day-to-day running of a busy sales office. You will provide comprehensive support to regional finance managers, dealer sales teams, administrators and customers, helping to ensure that finance applications and equipment orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
The position would suit a highly organised, customer-focused professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively with sales, finance and operational teams.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the effective day-to-day running of the sales office.
- Provide administrative and operational support to regional finance managers, dealer sales teams, administrators and customers.
- Process dealer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare proactive finance quotations for new and used equipment.
- Produce settlement quotations and payment profiles to support customer negotiations.
- Act as a key point of contact for sales teams throughout the finance and order process.
- Maintain and manage regional sales pipeline reports.
- Produce management information and ad hoc reports.
- Coordinate the central processing of orders for key accounts.
- Support the management and upkeep of website content in partnership with the marketing team.
- Coordinate promotional merchandise and related requests.
- Work closely with internal credit, customer service, systems, asset management and collections teams.
- Build effective relationships with dealers, field-based sales teams and customers.
- Follow all relevant policies, procedures, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Complete required governance and compliance training.
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required by the line manager.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in sales administration, sales coordination, financial services or a similarly busy customer-support environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Confidence working with internal teams, external sales professionals, dealers and customers.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
- Good general IT skills and confidence producing reports and maintaining accurate records.
- An understanding of asset finance, agricultural machinery or dealer-led sales would be beneficial, although it is not essential.
- A willingness to complete ongoing regulatory and compliance training.
Working arrangements
Standard working hours are 8:45am–5:15pm, Monday to Friday. The team operates a rota providing coverage between 8:00am and 6:00pm, and occasional additional hours may be required.
The workplace operates a business-casual dress code.
