JMC FABS LTD, are looking for self employed individuals with an interest in Welding/Fitting, to join our team of security engineers.
This position is within the prison industry and involves the installation of steelwork in LIVE prisons and construction site new builds across the UK. ie cell doors, gates, grilles, windows, meshing etc, First location will be at the new build prison site at HMP Gartree with 12-18 months work available for the right candidates.
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30 (14:00 finish on Friday)
- Day rate is £220 dependent on experience in stick welding
- Will be required to work away from home when needed
- SKILLED WELDER CSCS card is required (do not apply if you don't have this)
- Must have full uk driving license & transport
- Experience in MMA welding (stick)
- Must be able to work from engineering drawings
- Must be reliable, fit and healthy as job will include heavy lifting
- Must have relatively clean criminal record as a vetting security clearance is required to gain access (this will be checked by a vetting agency before entry)
