Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Support the kitchen team in daily operations, including ingredient organisation and stock replenishment
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and delivering food with professionalism
- Uphold food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the workspace
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Enthusiasm for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with customers and team members effectively
