LGV Delivery Driver / Factory Assistant
Location: East Challow, Wantage, Oxfordshire (OX12)
Salary: Approximately £13.00 per hour (higher rate available for HGV licence holders)

The Role:
OnSite are looking for a reliable and hardworking LGV Delivery Driver / Factory Assistant to join our Sewer Rehabilitation team based at our factory in East Challow, Oxfordshire. This is a varied role combining local deliveries with hands-on factory support, helping to produce and deliver specialist liners used in sewer rehabilitation projects.
We are particularly interested in candidates who live locally to the Challow/Wantage area and are flexible with working hours, including some early morning starts.
Key Responsibilities:
As an LGV Delivery Driver / Factory Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering liners and materials to site teams working across the Wessex Water and Thames Water regions.

Assisting factory staff with the production and preparation of specialist liners for sewer rehabilitation projects.

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.

Supporting day-to-day factory operations as required.

Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in line with company health and safety procedures.

Maintaining a professional and positive approach when working with colleagues and customers.
What You'll Need:

Full UK driving licence.

Experience driving LGV vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

A flexible approach to work, including occasional early starts.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.

A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to support production activities.
Desirable
-
HGV licence (higher pay available for suitably qualified candidates).

Previous experience within a manufacturing, factory, logistics or utility environment.
