Kidology Nursery, Greenock are currently recruiting a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team. You will work as an essential key member of our team supporting, nurturing and scaffolding high quality learning opportunities for the children in our care to a standard which meets the needs of our youngest children and their families.
In addition, successful candidates should have knowledge of working in an early years environment and understand relevant documents such as Curriculum for Excellence, GIRFEC, Realising the Ambition—Being me and Quality Framework.
This post is for 25 hours a week over 5 days, covering a variety of shifts between 08.00a.m. and 5.15p.m. Further details available on request.
About us:
Our nursery is registered with the Care Inspectorate to provide places for 45 children aged between 6 months to children not yet attending primary school and in partnership with the local authority to provide 1140 hours of pre-school education. We aim to provide a friendly environment for all the service users, children and adults alike, as well as a happy, relaxed and educational environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
The preferred candidate must be qualified to HNC level or equivalent and will be required to join the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update, prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
